As with all my sterling silver cutlery jewellery that carries the original hallmark, this will be issued with a certificate from the 'Sheffield Assay Office',  showing its original date and place of hallmark, together with a certificate number that will be shown on the certificate & present on the inside of the piece of jewellery. A new legal requirement has come into force , this means that the piece must also carry my hallmark.
